Nagorno-Karabakh fuel station explosion

An explosion at a fuel depot in Nagorno-Karabakh has resulted in at least 125 casualties, according to local authorities. Earlier today, reports indicated 20 victims, but the toll has tragically risen. Approximately 200 individuals have also sustained injuries in the incident.

Simultaneously, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh has led to an exodus of more than 28,000 people as Azerbaijan gains control over the region.

Last night, an explosion occurred at a fuel depot just outside the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh. The cause of the explosion is still unclear, but there is now more information emerging about the victims. According to the Armenian Ministry of Health, at least 125 people have lost their lives. This is a significant increase from the 20 reported deaths this morning. Over 200 other individuals have been injured, with several in critical condition.

At the time of the explosion, there was a long line of people waiting to obtain fuel before leaving Nagorno-Karabakh. Due to Azerbaijan’s blockade of the only access road between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, known as the Lachin Corridor, there has been a shortage of essential supplies, including fuel, for several months.
